Webinar for 130 Portuguese stakeholders

Webinar for 130 Portuguese stakeholders
Travel

We organized a webinar with Visit Portugal for their Portuguese stakeholders, about Nordic travelers and their perception of Portugal as destination.

To update Portuguese regional tourism boards and tourism stakeholders (hotels, DMC’s, etc.) on Nordic travelers’ preferences and perception of Portugal, we organized a webinar together with Visit Portugal’s Nordic office. An impressive number of 130 participants joined the webinar to hear about latest findings fresh from our recent survey.

The presentation included info about for example:

  • What is important for Nordic travelers with an interest in Portugal when choosing their travel destination?
  • Where do they find inspiration?
  • How do they book?
  • What kind of accommodation do they prefer?
  • And which experiences do they prioritize, when travelling?
  • What is their travel budget per household?

Why is this useful?

When developing campaigns targeting the Nordic market, it’s essential to stay attuned to current trends and preferences. This knowledge will be invaluable in crafting strategies that resonate with the audience.

Another crucial aspect is drawing inspiration from relevant sources during the campaign planning phase. By tapping into what motivates and engages Nordic consumers, you can create more effective and appealing campaigns.

Additionally, when developing products in collaboration with Nordic tour operators, it’s imperative to be mindful of the preferences and expectations of this market segment. Understanding their needs will enable you to offer tailored experiences that cater to their desires.

Further, we shared info about Nordic travelers’ awareness, image, experience and perception of Portugal – and info about potential first time visitors and re-visitors. The insights were from our bi-yearly representative market survey, Travellyze. After the presentation followed a lot of questions and interesting discussions about how to utilize these insights when developing a PR and marketing strategy for the Nordic market – and how the four Nordic countries differ from each other.

Since Portugal is well-liked in the Nordic market, it’s important to continuously communicate also about less known experiences; so travellers will keep coming back, as they know there’s more to explore.

Curious to get more familiar with the Nordic market?
We offer tailor-made seminars based on our comprehensive market survey!

The seminar will highlight factors and trends relevant for you – whether your target group is outdoor fans, families, city breakers, or something else.

All seminars include:

  • Data about your specific destination
  • Information about your target segments, their preference and behaviour
